Every time I read of these -collaborators, I am reminded of the absolute certainty with which some people "dressed" as psychologists or social workers (for example) denigrate a proective non-abusing mother, and recommend custody to a child rapist.

A must read. This intelligent ,educated human who speaks and writes with comprehension and empathy; should be more widely heard and read. (as if there were time !)

My opinions on children's rights, are more narrow in scope- sort of. My concern is in the area of separation and divorce. Specifically -those divorces which are called "high conflict".
What I have learned:
The majority of divorces are settled- often via mediation if needed- . The "rights" of all parties seem - protected. It is the divorces where one party was in fact, abusing the wife and children. The divorces where there is a constant unremitting series of court appearances to- obtain joint or shared custody-or, in cases of -abusers further on the continuum of abuse - the quest for total custody.These are the cases where the rights of the children are NEVER considered.The constant turmoil is, in itself,an abuse.
Who are abusers ? They can be anyone- from any walk of life. One constant is: they are predominately male.

Has there been an -upsurge of these cases ? (go back 25 years) Yes. It coincides rather neatly with the changes governments made- that the non-custodial parent absolutely must pay child support.(governments made these changes in an attempt to reduce welfare rolls- the number of mothers with children-on welfare. It was not altuism.

There is also a coincidental (? )increase in the noise made by some fathers' rights groups as well as drum beating by proponents of that pro-pediphile idea- pas- pa ,or just alienation- as some of the snake oil salesmen like to call it now. (too many know the provenance of these ideas)

And- of course- if one can "prove" alienation- there are some waiting anxiously in the wings- to provide "therapy" to- un alienate the child ! Yeah. Right.

I am very clear on how I see all of THAT. And my opinion is not acceptable in writing -on a blog. It has to do with greed. And no ethics.

Did others notice that some people now are screeching FOR "automatic" shared parenting ? At the same time the Australian government is revising its practice of "equal" parenting- of the last six ? years. Too many deaths of mothers and children. The final straw was little Darcy Freeman. Dear old dad stopped his vehicle on a bridge-plucked the tiny girl out and threw her off the bridge. In front of two young sons. Another funeral.

Do these children enjoy their basic human rights ? Did they ? There are dozens of similar cases,ending in death. In every case, examined AFTER the fact- (deaths) there was found a series of clear warnings- of abusive and dangerous behavior. A "psychologist" or social worker easily or purposefully "misses" these signals- and- the deaths continue.

Is this what the silent majority wishes for Canada ?????

Today, April 28, 2009 there is an article by Kirk Makin, justice reporter for the Globe and Mail- that begins on the front page When an 18- year - old man arrived for a birthday dinner at his mother's house . . . . .

More later- BUT this young man and those who were perhaps "with" him- have shown more intelligence and integrity than those proponents of slimy theories that destroy the human soul. To say nothing of the budget. Fidler and others who support invented theories proposed by a pro- pedophilia psychologist - HAH- imagine that- some of us have more intelligence and morality than the whole gaggle of you together.

This young man should be awarded a governor general's medal for service to the community of humans. I am absolutely - re-vitalized- to hear that these children (his younger brothers) and his mother may finally begin to just - -live and work and study- without the spectre of snake oil salesmen out to destroy them.

May the force continue to be with you ,young man ! Heads up lawyers- I would call this a most healthy precedent to be cited.

PAS Peanut butter And Salmonella

If this continues, I might begin to believe in magical thinking. That- what I think can somehow influence others. Dawkins' theory of good and bad "menes" might be true.

For some time, we have all been hearing of the peanut butter and salmonella problem (whence the title : Peanut butter And Salmonella . So, I was thinking about where our society places priorities. Some people dead- 9 ? , hundreds sickened. And for only that -they recall peanut butter and scores of related products ?

As we have more than 9 children dead while in the custody of an allegedly abusive parent, and thousands who are ill, because of the allegedly abusive parent: why, I wondered - could the governments or some body of the powers that be- not recall some judges. Even better- why not the associated products that can also make you sick ???


Now here comes the magical thinking - -you may have heard that very recently, some judges ARE, in fact, being recalled ! In the U.S. at least. Now, I am anxiously awaiting the recall of the related products. Some psychologists,therapists,GALs, supervised vistation people and a few thousand (million?) social workers.

In his book The Selfish Gene, Dawkins theorizes that, just as genes are passed by propagation, so there are menes- .These menes carry ideas and propagate- desseminate in a society. One can have good menes- and bad ones. The bad mene laboratory created by R.Gardner, and carried through the society like salmonella in peanut butter- has been known of for over 25 years. It has caused more widespread damage and death than the peanut butter microbe. Finally there appears to be a good mene- the recall the of products that are infected. Some judges.

Let us hope that we can influence the spread of the vaccine of recall and save countless children and their protective parents from this dread disease of pas. After all, unlike salmonella, the aftereffects of pas linger for a lifetime and cause the lifelong suffering of thousands and thousands of people. All my children among them.
